Sample IR roof scan of a Volusia County structure
Recent aerial infrared roof scans were done over the coast of Volusia County which revealed numerous structures with water intrusion issues. As you can see in the infrared photo to the right, the buildings roof at the top has areas which are lighter in color. These areas are trapped moisture in the underlayment. The infrared image at the bottom has no problems found. If you have received your structure’s image from our company, we are offering you a detailed report which contains CAD drawings, locations of water intrusion outlined on digital and infrared aerial photographs. This information will inform you of the condition of one of the most expensive components of your building. If you have not received your complementary Infrared roof imaging and we have it on file, please call our office and we will forward it. If you are interested in a comprehensive detailed report of your structure’s roof, please call our office at 321-452-5830. We have attached the following sample reports so you can see the type of information that will be provided:
Other beneficial inspection services our company can offer are; electrical scans, energy audits, structural water intrusion scans (exterior cladding / walls – window – doors )and Master / Individual wind mitigation inspections. The buildings we have inspected include but are not limited to office buildings, distribution centers, aerospace facilities (NASA, KSC “Kennedy Space Center”), (Cape Canaveral Air force Station “Atlas Launch facility”),industrial facilities, restaurants, strip malls, and apartment buildings.
With the ever increasing cost of repairs and energy, the individual owners, BOD (Board of Directors) and HOA (Home owners association) need to know specific information about energy cost’s, physical and mechanical condition of the building they manage or own.
What is the condition and functionality of the roofing material?
What’s the energy consumption for the individual unit or the complex going to be ?
Is the structure and foundation sound?
What are the short and long term repair costs?
Advanced Imaging Services will address all these concerns and many more. Every commercial property manager and owner has a unique use for their building. We ask detailed questions prior to the on-site visit in order to determine what type of information is desired from the inspection report. Our reports are based on Your needs. Please, do not settle for a report that simply describes the buildings components and it’s condition. Complex IR Thermography scans (Roof, electrical, HVAC and structural), wind mitigation and full building inspections with many more options are available.
